An inspiring blog hop:)

I don't know about you but I love me a blog hop.  Not only is there a prize at the end for one lucky winner but you get to travel along to different blogs, see other people's scrap style and in our case journey through their emotions, and  journaling.

Yup its time for a Scrap booking from the inside out blog hop.

First of all I just have to show you the prize..................................................................................................

That there would be our March Inspiration kit and its a fun, colorful kit, perfect for all your inspiring layouts;)  So the deal is the more design team blogs you visit along the way and comment on, the more chances you have to win this delightful kit and well you get to gather inspiration from us along the way(yes I am so over using the word inspire but that is the theme for March)

The hop starts on March 22nd,  3 am eastern time(12 am Pacific Standard Time).  You have until Thursday March 24th, 8pm eastern time(5pm Pacific Standard time).  Shortly there after we will announce a winner on the SFTIO blog and our Facebook page
On each design team blog we will share a layout that was created with this kit and dig deep into the meaning and emotions behind it.  I hope that this allows you to dig deeper into your journaling next time you scrap!

I have had this picture since the summer.  It was one of those mornings out on Shelter Island(which is a small island in between Greenport and Sag Harbor NY, its gorgeous) I have friend's that live out there and I love to take advantage of heading on out for a long weekend especially when the weather is nice.  This one particular weekend was extra special because it was of us girls who once lived together as roommates.  We have all gone our separate ways in life but all came together over some coffee and this very fun weekend.  We chatted about life and things we would like to do.  We reminisced about old times and our old place, we just sat and drank coffee and talked up a storm for hours.  To me coffee chats in the morning can be the most inspiring, they inspire new thoughts, new found friendships, new respect for new lives that have begun and continued on since you last saw each other.  A cup of coffee or tea, a nice quite morning even by yourself can really get these creative juices going and inspire a world of ideas:)
I ask you what daily event inspires you once in awhile? It can be just a day out in the garden, cooking a new meal for your family, having a nice phone conversation with a best friend.  Just think about it and and perhaps create a layout all about that activity.

Well now I must say goodbye and send you on your way to darling Melissa's blog for some more blog hop fun!

I think cooking inspires me, especially exotic food and such - love it! And my cats *lol* The things they do always makes me laugh and see things differently ;)

Great layout and backstory, coffee is and always has been the best venue over which to catch up with people.

I love that you chose something so basic to base your layout around. It's all about the little things that make up our whole day, the things that help us get through, but we tend to forget about, the things that get pushed out of our minds by the very good and very bad. After I finish the blog hop, I'm off to make a list of daily things our family does that I would like to document.

Thanks so much for the inspiration!!

I LOVE the coffee!!

Great coffee on a lazy morning with a hint of crispness. Those that are in summer... Before it gets really warm in the Northwest... there is a crispness to the mornings. Very inspiring!
