Summer is just entering August and Ive already got Fall on the brain. I love the short days, the cool air and all of the beautiful colors. This year should be especially awesome with me now living up in Conneticut. We are surrounded by trees and lakes and I need to purchase a camera in time to capture it all. Fall also brings back many a childhood memories as well as young adulthood memories of living out on the East end of Long Island which is equally gorgeous during the autumn days.
This year my sister will be getting married right at the beginning of the Fall. It will be an outdoor wedding on the river with mums and jack o'lanterns and me as the maid of honor. So it gives this years special time of the year for me an even more important significance.
Ive already splurged and purchased a great pocket book I had to have. Its a pink/blue/white plaid on top of a camel colored felt like material. Its sitting in the corner of my room waiting for Fall's arrival.
In other news I need to start updating my blog more often. My brain has been a blank slate now for the past two weeks. I have yet to conjure up anything fantastic or worthy of blogging. Im sure that when I finally get my time off next week I will be on some small adventures that can be spoken about. One small treasure I came upon at the store was this keychain digital camera by Phillips that I have to say really takes good pictures. With that said I will be able to post some more pictures on here as well.
The thing is my boyfriend will be adding my blog link to his website update in the upcoming week or so(ahhhhhhhhh!) So I need to start producing something of interest and I have to shake this creative back up.
For now I will just conure up ideas and work on conquering this blockage war I have going on with my brain.
In due time!

Superheroes
When I think of the word superhero I think of Will and I think of this lady.............. Andrea Scher
I have followed her for about 7 years and have loved her beautiful jewelery line for just as long. She also has a great photography collection as well as many links to other wonderful people, this is just a taste of her website. I always tell myself one day I will treat myself to a necklace, one day:) She is also my inspiration in creating a blog(her and a few others as well) I highly recommend her site, pure eye candy and great writing. I believe I came across her years ago in the back of one of Sark's books and I have been addicted since( I am a huge SARK fan as well) . So my applause goes out to her and I send her well wishes to many a more great posts and creations!!! I truley look up to you.
And if well Will is reading this I just want him to know that its time for him to update his website! Feed your fans and get back to your superhero roots:)

"Living is easy with eyes closed"

Well its Monday Monday! My legs are killing me and I have a load of stuff to do and here I am posting something, anything. This past weekend we finally made it down to Strawberry fields. I was able to take some good poloroids, only one of which I have scanned and will add now to this post...................a very popular one in deed! It was funny to hear people say "oh my gosh look at that old camera" it makes me thinks how far we have come with digital cameras and how people have forgotten just how great a poloroid can be.
In remembrance of the day I got a strawberry tattoo on my foot. It was a painful spot, very tender. I got it done at my new favorite place Addiction NYC Tattoos, this was my third one from them and I have been very pleased with each and every artist I have had ink me. This time however it turned out to be someone mister Will was friends with at F.I.T, so a 20 minute tattoo turned into about an hour and a half tat because of all the chatting. BUT all in all it was good and the strawberry turned out lovely:)
Central Park on the other hand was rather interesting. We saw many of odd characters. I could sit all day on any one of the benches in the park and people watch. Will and I had a riot, some people are just so interesting and unique(well then again we are all unique). Next time I shall bring along my sketch book and possibly sketch a few, unless however they allow me to photograph them and I have a new camera by then!
I cannot believe in all the years I have been to the city and also lived in the city while attending college I never actually wandered around in there. It really is like a whole other world. Fountains, gardens, even a castle. Next time we will visit the zoo. I love to call Will Mr. Doolittle because he is in love with animals, the man feeds his "friends" the squirels down in the park by his house. We both have agreed that when we finally live together we minds well live on a farm because we will have so many animals and then of course children and plenty of room for Will's collections as well as art studios(phewww). So with that moutful said a Central Park Zoo visit is definetly in the making and a possible move to the country:)
Down at one of the many a lakes in the park you can rent boats, people just relaxing, couples chatting and others crashing into eachother..................seems like fun to me so we have added that onto our list as well.
The greatest moment however was that evening after we finally navigated our way out we meandered back into Strawberry fields where I finally laid a small piece of art done on a shell upon the "imagine" mosaic. We then sat on the bench and relaxed while at the same time reflecting on how beautiful and magical it felt and looked there. Will is a huge Lennon fan and he said he could feel the energy there and it was very moving. There were a few people still sitting around and one guy who seemed to be the caretaker of the memorial. There were also a few hippies, one of which had a gorgeous little girl with her and they were both doing the hoops. Everything just felt right, and it was a great way to end our trip to the wonderous park.
We then wandered down to the village where I then got my tattoo and we followed that with a trip to our favorite bar.......Bull McCabes, the scene of our first date. Its always a must visit to that place!
BUT I leave you with a few final tid bits.
A picture of the "Imagine Mosaic" in central parks Strawberry fields(above).
And thoughts and prayers to a gentlemen who tattooed me last time I was at Addiction Tattoos. He had done my "Un Jour" script on my back which means "one day" in french. May he rest in peace, from what I percieved he seemed like a good true man.

Partly cloudy

SO as of now im back at the homestead, probably pull up a chair on the deck and read my newest venture "Popisim" which has gotten pretty good reviews. I find myself diving deeper into that whole era and wanted to absorb anything having to do with it. It seemed like a very self indulgent, crazy artistic trip one that wouldve probably left me in a ditch or god forbid coffin like most artist at that time. On the same subject if you havent seen "Factory Girl" or "Basquiat" definetly check them out(if your into that of course) . Both were aquainted with the outlandish artist known as Andy Warhol. Another good one is "I shot Andy Warhol"...............crazy lady I tell ya, but also intelligent as well. Its really interesting to watch the different interpertations of Andy by numerous actors. So far my favorite would have to be David Bowie in "Basquiat" because the guy is already a little off kilter to begin with. This my friends is my newest interest at the moment and I feel the need to share with!
I would however really like a nice relaxing day at the beach or park of some sorts to read my book and catch some rays. Yesterday I ended up at this place Silver Sands State Park
which by the way sounded so awesome and relaxing but I was a little disappointed and left an hour into my visit. I think next time I should try and aim for low tide so I can walk across to Charles Island where Captain Kid was to have buried his treasure. Possibly bring along a metal detector or something and strike it rich. Ive been down with the Pirate thing since Johnny slipped into the whole Captain Jack character(im a massive Mr Depp fan)
Living here in the great city of Danbury CT is actually a snore. Beaches are miles away, although nice drives. Then you have NY(my home state) where there are prestine lake fronts and mountains. Today I found a park that looked really awesome, white sand brought in from Long Island and everything. Thanks to dear old map quest my adventure to Fahnestock Park/beach turned into a dead end. I tried and tried several times to navigate my way to this wonderous lake and only ended up in circles around another one which I dont know the name of.

Tomorrow it looks like im off to Central Park to finally pay homage to John Lennon. Strawberry fields has been on our list of places to visit for a very long time(Will and I). I also intend on strolling all through the park and going crazy with both digital and poloroid cameras. Im sure I will post them as well as the whole experience when I get back and setteled.
That tis is all...................live from boring snoring Danbury...................PAZ:)

Je

Me....................free spirited, spontaneous, fun loving, creative as well as cranky sometimes some may say.
Why Colored sprinkles you ask? Well they are fun, and I love to pretty much dump them on my occasional splurge of ice cream like their going out of style. With that I titled my new exciting blog "Colored Sprinkles" because in all reality and no pun intended I want to sprinkle my life with fun and enjoyment over and over again, ............does that make sense???
In my life at the moment I am a live in nanny in CT, which by the way has not been my cup of tea(this city I live in Part). I adore the child I watch and her mother is amazing as well but I have yet to make friends or find interests. I try and fill my time with good movies, books, art, music..... anything. I get outdoors and absorb as much nature as I can(im sure I could try and absorb some more) On weekends I try and fill my time with happenings, mostly things I never do. One of my partners in crime is my boyfriend Will who I like to call Sir Will. OH and what an interesting character he is, thats a blog in itself. The thing is we coexsist, we blend together perfectly. This I discovered after a 3 month vacation from our relationship. I think Will deserves his own post down the line, my ponderings on this mysterious character who is also known by the name Fan boy Will(fanboytheatre.com). He is an avid comic book collector and well known in the underground world of fan films which are pretty much remakes of the mega big time super hero movies redone by fans.
BUT for now this is my opening post and the beginning of a colorful blog, especially for those days when im down.........a new friend for me to visit if you would like to say:)
