Ok so since I have been going to quite a few crops lately I have figured out a plan of sorts. I take time the night before and look over challenge sites and company sites to see what contests and prompts they have. The ones I like I will write down in my little notebook(I never bring my computer because I would just be on it the whole time) If its a sketch, I just sketch it really quickly in my book. This last two crops this weekend I got 4 challenges done including the one for The Creative Type.
The following layout was for Sassafras's March challenge which was all about blocking, creating a layout in a square sort of design. I actually love this format and have done it numerous times in the past. It is one of my go to designs. When working with Sassafras papers this design style can be quite fun and well very colorful. The pictures I used were those of my good friend Erin and her daughter CC at the local Strawberry Festival this past June. They were on the rides and well those rides are quite colorful as well. I felt that the Sassafras papers really worked well as a whole with the images, so much fun.
I do believe the deadline for this challenge is March 31st, so if your up for the challenge go and enter:)
