Today was just one of those icky days. I have a sinus cold, and it stinks!! At least it did not really start up till after my fun weekend with Kara. We did in deed have a nice time with my sister, and it included lots of movies, a cozy fire in the fireplace and delish food. Kara happens to be an A + house guest worthy of more invitations home!

Here is my take on our movie quote challenge. One of my all time favorite movies happens to be Vacation with Chevy Chase. It always reminds me of my families vacations when I was younger. We happened to have a wagon just like theirs, and we sometimes brought our grandpa with us on these trips. One of the pictures I came across while scanning child hood photos back at my parents was this one of us taking a picture all together in front of our wagon. I do believe we were on our way to Busch Gardens in Virgina. We happened to stop at my grandpa's sister's house for a little visit, she lived up in the mountains of PA. I must have been about 5 in this picture, I seem to be standing in a funny little way. I really adore this image and used it in my Creative Type layout on which I used the quote "Holiday Road" from the main song of the movie. And there you have it:)

I have been working on my December Daily almost daily. I really want to pull this one off. When I have finished getting the pages ready for journaling and pictures I will share them as well as after they have been really completed!! I have been having a lot of fun putting it together and quite pleased with the way it looks.
