Watching Obama give his speech at this very moment. In my personal opinion, I think Barack is a good man, I believe he has good intentions, I think I would be proud to have him as my president. I also think its time for a change, and when I vote, I am going to vote for the dreams and hopes of America and not for what is safe and known. I sure as hell do not want a repeat of what is sitting in the White House right now and for the past 8 years. We obviously need a change, our country is crying out loud for a change. I remembered how hurt so many people were when Bush was back in for another 4 years, I saw faith drop, and people just counting down the days till he left. People had bumper stickers, magnets, shirts, even huge count down clocks, how sad is that?
But what I want to say is that we all have a right to our personal opinions and beliefs, BUT all that I hope for is that who ever lands that big seat this coming November, DOES something right for once. Whether it be McCain or Barack, please let this be the 4 years that change it all.

I have to agree with you whole heartedly...Personally when I look at Obama I see more sincerity when i look at Mcain I see deceit and lies...I share in your hope for america! I TOO will be voting for hopes and dreams!
me too! i loved it when he said, "8 is enough" :)
Amen, sister. I couldn't have said it better.
agreed, agreed, agreed.
I was really impressed after watching his speech, I was on the fence and feeling not very sure but after doing some searching for the facts on my own and watching the convention, I know what I'm going to do.
